Artist's Comments
For this contest I feature one of my original characters, the Dark Avenger. Here he is at battle with a sultry demon. I had in mind to portray evil as attractive and powerful because that's how they would lure its victims to their ruin, just like in the Bible when the Devil lured Adam and Eve into their fall with an appearance of a beautiful snake and deceptively tempting words. The good is often in suffering and in constant struggle to overcome its polar half (evil) which is why my hero here look so exhausted. Who will ultimately win here is anyone's guess. Hope you enjoy.
